There may be big changes coming to Netflix.
For first time in over ten years, the streaming company lost more than 300,000 subscribers, and many of the subscribers they STILL have are sharing passwords with friends and/or family members who don’t live under the same roof.
Netflix estimates that about 100 million households around the world are using the service without paying for it, including 30 million in the US and Canada.
To make up for the loss of revenue, Netflix may start a lower-cost, ad supported service. They may also begin charging three dollars per shared password.
