More and more employees are realizing that salary is no longer the deciding factor when it comes to staying with the same job. “Work/life balance” is becoming more important. If you think improving your work/life balance is out of your hands, think again.
Work/life balance isn’t just splitting your time between work and leisure 50/50. It means meeting your work deadlines, and still having time for fun, having enough time to eat and sleep well, and not worrying about work when you’re at home.

Understand your rights at work, and speak up when your boss’s expectations of you are too high. Probably most important: Do your best to draw a line between work and home.
