This Is One Of The Most Unusual Shortages Ever

Supply chain problems have created yet another shortage, and it’s affecting colleges and high schools across the country.

It’s a shortage of caps and gowns for graduating seniors.

For example, Mariner and Fort Myers high schools in Florida are short 100 sets of caps and gowns. That’s when alumni stepped up to ease the shortage.

Allison Downey is a 2006 Fort Myers graduate, and she saw a Facebook post about the topic. She immediately called her parents and asked the to find her cap and gown in her closet. They found them, and donated them to the school. Dozens of other alumni did the same thing.
