Authorities are warning parents to be wary of counterfeit child car seats that are on the market.
Counterfeit car seats are made of inferior materials that can’t stand the forces of a crash. Some of the fake seats shatter on impact, and have been found to contain harmful chemicals. Some are even made with flammable materials.
