The Marine Mammal Center is open to the public again!

The landmark in the Marin Headlands has a new look. The center was closed to visitors when the pandemic hit, so staff used the time to do some remodeling with some new interactive exhibits. Before the lockdown, the center hosted about 100,000 visitors.

The center’s animal hospital serves animals over 600 miles of coastline from Mendocino County to San Luis Obispo County.

Visits are free to the public, but visitors need to reserve a two-hour time slot. Hours are Fridays through Mondays 10a-4p. For more information, and make reservations, click here.
