“Top Gun: Maverick” had a record-breaking second weekend and has now made nearly $550 million worldwide.
The original 1986 movie was propelled by Kenny Loggins’ massive hit “Danger Zone.” Kenny shared how Tina Turner’s “Private Dancer” inspired the track. “I loved the way she was integrating her R&B thing in to rock and roll, and that’s what I wanted to do with ‘Danger Zone,'” he said.
