The Warriors have been crowned champions of the NBA for the fourth time in eight years after defeating the Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6. After trailing early, Golden State went on a historic 21-0 run in the first half and never looked back, with Steph Curry making a team-high 34 points for the night.
The parade will begin at 11:20 a.m. and start at Market and Main streets in downtown San Francisco. Players and coaches will make their way down Market Street, ending at Sixth Street. The Warriors are describing it as "a free-flowing and engaging celebratory event for fans, with the opportunity to share in the up-close excitement of the 2022 NBA Championship with the Warriors, their players, coaches, legends and staff." Monday is also the federal observed holiday for Juneteenth.
Public transportation is highly advised.
