Here’s more evidence of how well Billy Joel treats his fans.
Mr. Joel revealed his reason behind never selling tickets for the first few rows of his concerts. He leaves the first few rows empty. His crew then goes up to the cheap nosebleed seats, and invites those fans to the front.
Joel figures that the people in the cheap seats are hardcore fans, and paid all they possibly could to enjoy the show. It turns out that THOSE are the types of fans that make the concert special, he says.
