After finally being able to go back to indoor restaurant dining as the lockdown eased up, people are trending back to preferring takeout.
Of those who were asked, only 25% said they were more likely to dine-in compared to last year, and 46% are more inclined to order takeout
With this trend, people are making more use of drive-thrus, which introduces its own frustrations. For example, customers complain that it’s not always easy to hear the person taking your order, and incorrect orders.
