If you plan on riding BART, don’t forget your mask.
Thursday night the BART Board of Directors voted to bring back the mask mandate. It’ll be in effect at least until around October 1. By then the board will vote on whether or not to continue the mask requirement.
Masks are again required for people on trains and BART platforms. Children two and under, and people with medical problems that might prohibit them from wearing a mask, are exempt.
If you forget your mask, masks will be available at some stations.
