Here are just a few of the Bay Area temperature records that were shattered yesterday:

SFO at 97 broke a record set in 2004. The record was 93 that year. San Jose airport hit 104 which shattered the 2008 record of 99. The Oakland Museum broke the 2008 record of 95 with a high temp of 100 yesterday.

Kentfield and Livermore broke records that stood for 72 years. In Kentfield, where it reached 107 yesterday, the old record was 103. Livermore’s high was 116 yesterday, breaking the 1950 record of 108.

All in all 11 Bay Area temp records were broken yesterday. Look for more of the same tomorrow.
