More and more companies are trying to help their employees disconnect during time off.
One way employers are doing this is by offering company-wide vacations, in addition to the employee’s regular vacation time. By allowing workers to take time off at the same time, it would eliminate the temptation to stay connected during vacation.
One company in the US, consulting firm PwC, is giving its 60,000 employees two annual company-wide week-long breaks, in July and December, in addition to vacation time.
