Here’s good news if you’re waiting for your inflation relief check from the state.
The second round of payments were mailed out on Monday in the form of debit cards. Since October 7th, the state has been refunding millions of dollars to Californians in the form of direct deposits.
If you get your payment in the form of a debit card, you’ll need to activate your card online.
The next round of direct deposits will be issued this Friday. The range of payments will run from $200 to $1050.
The Franchise Tax Board figures that about 10 million debit cards, and 8 million direct deposits will be issued by early next year.
