People are slowly getting away from the check writing habit. But 4 in ten people still pay bills by writing checks.

There are some great reasons to avoid writing checks. For example, if you pay electronically, you can wait until the last possible minute to pay a bill. That’s not always possible if you have to float a check.

Electronic payments are safer and less susceptible to fraud. 

Surprisingly, millennials are the ones who still write the most checks.
