If you’ve ever thought of going OUT for Thanksgiving, this might be the year to do it.
Dining out can be costly, but it’s a much better value this year than in years past. We all know that the cost of Thanksgiving fixings have gone up this year, but the same fixings are a much smaller percentage of a restaurant’s total costs. And the cost of food away from home has risen at a slower rate than the increase of the cost of food you buy at the grocery store. Restaurants are paying about 5.70 percent more this year for food, but cost of food at the store has risen about 9.81 percent.
