The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the northern Sierra Nevada, and it’ll stay in effect until 4 Tuesday morning.
The snow level will fall to the 4,000 foot range with the possibility of another foot of snow over the next 24 hours. That’s in addition to the two or more feet of snow that fell late last week.
Chains are required on most mountain roads, and if you'd like the latest Tahoe road information, click here.
