Regifting isn’t as taboo as it once was. In fact, Gen Xers & Gen Zers find it perfectly acceptable. But there are a few rules of regifting etiquette that you need to follow. For example:
Take the gift tags off.
Rewrapping is important.
Remember who gave you the gift in the first place.
Regift in moderation.
Things NOT to regift, and some of these might be obvious:
Anything that’s been opened.
Anything monogrammed
Anything signed.
