Cindy Williams, the actress best known for playing Shirley Feeney in the hit TV sitcoms "Happy Days" and "Laverne & Shirley", has passed away at the age of 75. She died after a brief illness in Los Angeles on January 25th.

Williams took over the airwaves in 1975 when she and Penny Marshall were cast in "Happy Days", and later led the spinoff show "Laverne & Shirley". The show ran for eight seasons and was one of the most-watched TV shows during its time. Williams also had a successful career in films and TV shows, including "American Graffiti" and "The Conversation".

Her children released a statement saying “She was one of a kind, beautiful, generous, and possessed a brilliant sense of humor and a glittering spirit that everyone loved”. Cindy is survived by her two children Zak & Emily and was divorced from Bill Hudson in 2000. Rest In Peace.
