This weekend, Union Square in San Francisco will be transformed into a tulip wonderland.
In honor of International Women’s Day next Wednesday, 80,000 American grown tulips will be on display. San Francisco Mayor London Breed will open the display at 12 noon tomorrow. The tulip garden will then open to the public at 1pm. At that time, visitors will be invited to “pick” their own tulips from the display until 4:30. Tulip lovers can pick up to 15 tulips per person.
