Why Are We Still Changing Our Clocks Twice A Year?

It’s “time” to change our clocks…..again. We’ll be moving our clocks ahead one hour before we go to bed on Saturday night.

Weren’t we supposed to end this idea of changing our clocks twice a year? Back in 2018 Califonian’s voted to end the time change permanently. The Sunshine Protection Act passed the Senate last year but stalled in the House. That would have made Daylight Saving Time permanent across the country.

There’s a glimmer of hope though. A couple of weeks ago the Daylight Protection Act was reintroduced in the Senate, and the hope is that it’ll pass in the House, and wind up on the President’s desk for his signature.
