Why Are The Bay Bridge Lights Back On?

Remember when the decorative lights on the Bay Bridge were shut off a little more than a week ago? They were turned off because they were in disrepair, and they were supposed to stay off for a year, or until $11 million was raised to repair them.

Last night, for some reason, they went back on again, and won’t turn off. The problem, if you can call it that, was caused by a computer glitch.

If the funds are raised in time, the new display will more than double the number of LED lights to 50,000.

Jack & Carolyn talked about this on the Morning Breeze. Listen here:
