Like so many other artists, Kenny Rogers recorded dozens, maybe hundreds of songs over his sixty-year career that were never released to the public. His widow plans to release some of those songs June 2nd. Wanda Rogers said of her husband “ He would often say that he wanted his songs to be ‘what every man wants to say, and every woman wants to hear,’’.

The songs were recorded between 2008 and 2011, and will include a cover of Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight”, and Etta James “At Last”. Also included will be another duet with Dolly Parton, and “Goodbye”, written by Lionel Richie.

Kenny Rogers passed away in 2020.
