Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour has become the highest grossing tour in history.
Since it launched in September 2018, it finally passed Ed Sheeran’s The Divide Tour in January - and became the first tour to pass $800 million.
When the tour finally wraps up later this month, Billboard Boxscore estimates it will gross more than $910 million.
In doing so, it was the first tour to gross more than $800 million. And now, less than two weeks before wrapping for good, it’s the first to cross yet another milestone.
Previous record-holders include Sheeran with $776.4 million, and U2’s 360 Tour with $736.4 million.
