If you've watched an episode of The Mandalorian on Disney + then you already know: Grogu (aka, Baby Yoda) is cute.
And according to experts, there is a scientific explanation for why you want to reach through the screen and squish him.
Several studies show that we react this strongly to infantile features — like a large head, round face, and big eyes — so we'll feel motivated to take care of the babies of the world, and thus increase their chances of survival.
