It's back-to-school time. Which is not only an adjustment for the kids, but also for parents.
WoodlandsMommy has some tips to help make this time of year a little easier to navigate for parents with kids going to school.
- Do your homework. Find out what your children will be studying this year. Go to back-to-school night. Get familiar with school calendars and deadlines.
- Talk to your kids. As always, communication is key. See how your kid is doing, how they're liking their teachers, what lunch is like.
- Safety first. Develop a safety plan with your kids for different situations.
- Set up a homework routine. Create a routine where homework is a priority each day.
