The pandemic trend of home renovations appears to slowing down.
The home improvement platform Houzz says many American homeowners are holding off on starting projects.
âOne in seven homeowners has put their home renovation project on hold (15%),â according to results from a online survey published September 6. âFaced with inflation and rising interest rates, many homeowners have been forced to reevaluate their ability to pursue immediate improvements,â commented the firmâs staff economist Marine Sargsyan in the survey summary.
