"Phyllis is an LVN that takes care of our almost 15 year old special needs son, Christian, for the last almost 10 years. She is with him for 8 hours a day. He recently started 10th grade. She always makes sure that he is with his general education peers and that he always participates in every activity being done. She makes sure that he is always included, NOT excluded due to his disability. He has made so many friends that gravitate to him, is quite popular at school, and we have her to thank. She has a heart of gold and deserves to be nominated and more! There should be more kind people like her."
