Wildlife officials say for the first time in 160 years, a beaver was born in the wild in the Palo Alto area of the San Francsico Bay.
For years, officials have been attempting to reintroduce the mammals back into the environment but haven’t had luck, until now (they hope). They say they believe the baby beaver is the offspring of a pair of beavers placed in area back in 2022.
