You're not alone.
Mammals naturally burn extra energy in colder weather to keep their bodies warm. Scientists knew the surge in energy use made us hungry, but they couldn't show exactly why it was happening.
Until now.
A new study has identified a group of brain cells in mice that act like a switch when the weather turns cold.
Scientists hope the findings could help them find treatments for metabolism and weight loss.
