Amazon is warning its customers about a rise in sophisticated phishing scams that are targeting Prime members.

The scams involve emails that appear to be from Amazon, claiming that the recipient has made a purchase they didn't actually make or that there is an issue with their Prime membership. The emails contain links that lead to fraudulent websites where scammers can collect personal and payment information.

Amazon advises customers to be cautious and verify the legitimacy of any emails or messages they receive before clicking on links or providing any information.

They also recommend reaching out to Amazon directly through their official website or mobile app to avoid falling victim to phone number hijacking scams.
