McDonald's is testing a new coffee shop-style restaurant called CosMc's, with the aim of having 10 locations in the US by 2024.
The new concept, described as a "beverage-led concept" inspired by nostalgia, will offer a larger menu of specialist drinks and sweet snacks, as well as popular items from mainstream McDonald's.
The company plans to study the popularity of CosMc's for at least a year before deciding whether to expand further.
In addition to this new concept, McDonald's also has plans to open another 10,000 restaurants worldwide in the next four years.
