Oakland restaurant Pomet has been ranked as the second-best new restaurant in America by Yelp. Pomet, located on Piedmont Avenue, was the only Bay Area establishment to make the list.
The restaurant's "New American" cuisine, which features fresh ingredients and a farm-to-table dining experience, received praise from Yelp reviewers. Pomet's menu is Asian-influenced and subject to change based on seasonal availability.
The restaurant has also received recognition from Michelin, which gave it a "green leaf" rating.
