The Library of Congress has announced its annual list of 25 films to be added to the National Film Registry.
The films are chosen for their cultural, historic, or aesthetic significance and are added to preserve the nation's film heritage.
This year's selection includes movies such as Apollo 13, Home Alone, Lady and the Tramp, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Love & Basketball, and 12 Years a Slave.
The films added this year bring the total number of films in the registry to 875.
