Claudette Dion, Celine's sister, announced the surprising reversal in her ailment, which produces excruciating muscle spasms, stating she won't return to the stage for a long time.
She told 7 Jours it broke her heart since her sister had always been disciplined and hard-working. Their late mother promised Celine her habits would make her successful, but now that success seemed jeopardized.
Despite the dismal prognosis, Claudette says Celine wants to return to the stage but is unsure in what capacity. Many individuals in the same situation have "lost hope" of finding a treatment.
