Ticket prices for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas could reach record-breaking levels, with an average price of $12,700, according to reseller StubHub.
The first day of sales data for the game showed a 150% increase compared to the 2019 Super Bowl, and demand was "trending 90% higher" than last year's event.
The San Francisco 49ers' fan base accounted for 26% of all tickets sold in the early stages, while Kansas City and Missouri made up 7% of sales.
The average ticket price in the first 24 hours of sales was $10,752, the highest in history aside from the reduced capacity "COVID" Super Bowl in 2021.
