Tracy Chapman And Luke Combs At The Grammy's Was An Absolute Highlight!

66th GRAMMY Awards - Show

There were so many amazing moments at the Grammy Awards last night, but a highlight for me was my friend Denny Fongheiser getting the call to play drums for a "surprise performance." What I didn't know when Denny's wife Kimberly texted me was that the surprise performance was Tracy Chapman joining Luke Combs on stage to do "Fast Car!" (Fun fact: Denny played drums on Tracy's 1988 recording of "Fast Car." He and the original bassist on the track, Larry Klein, reunited on stage with Tracy for the first time in decades at the Grammy's last night. Certainly a special moment for the three of them.)

The performance was nothing short of perfection, and when the camera cut to the crowd, stars like Oprah, Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson were on their feet with tears in their eyes.

I asked Denny's wife Kim how they were going to celebrate when he got home and she said "apple pie and Komboucha."

If you missed the performance, it's a must watch! You can see part of it below....

Carolyn and Cort talked about it on the air! Listen below...
