The public library in Worcester Massachusetts has taken a unique approach to handling late fees.
Cat pictures.
It's all part of the library's 'March Meowness' program.
Patrons can submit a photo... or even a drawing... to erase fines from late fees, damaged or lost books.
The library says the idea came about when when they noticed younger users had fees dating back to the start of the pandemic - and they didn't want to them to stop using the library.
