Millions of people across North America are gearing up to witness the total solar eclipse, with the moon set to obscure the sun in 15 states from Texas to Maine.
The eclipse will be visible in 49 states, with Alaska being the only exception. The best viewing areas are in northern New England, northern Arkansas, and central Indiana, with clear skies expected in cities like Caribou, Maine, and Burlington, Vt.
NASA predicts that more Americans will see this eclipse compared to the 2017 event, with major cities like San Antonio, Dallas, and Cleveland in the path of totality.
