The Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich recently fired an employee for hanging one of his own paintings in the museum's modern art collection.
The employee, aged 51, took advantage of his role in installing an architecture exhibit to sneak his artwork onto the modern art floor.
The museum discovered the unauthorized addition while closed to the public.
