Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officials successfully removed a nearly 10-foot-long alligator from the tarmac at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
The alligator had made its way under an airplane, prompting FWC to intervene.
The officers placed ropes around the alligator's body, tail, and mouth before relocating it to the Hillsborough River.
The alligator's presence was attributed to the mating season, and it was safely moved to a nearby river off base.
