The first Thursday in May is World Password Day, and while that makes it easy to remember and figure out... your password shouldn't be as predictable.

Poor password habits can lead to your data being stolen, bank accounts hacked or much, much worse.

Google is making strides in replacing traditional passwords with passkeys, which rely on device-based authentication for faster and more secure logins.

Over 400 million Google Accounts have used passkeys, with users finding them easier to use than passwords.

Despite some resistance online, passkeys can be used across multiple devices and are supported by various services and password managers.

Google is working on improving the transition to passkeys and plans to integrate them into its Advanced Protection Program for high-profile users.
