A couple from Vermont got a surprise when their pet chicken hatched a duckling.
They said they noticed their chicken was sitting on a duck egg but didn't think anything of it.
A few weeks later, the duck hatched along with other chickens.
The couple said, "We looked under her and saw a duck bill coming out, and we were like, 'Oh, my gosh!' It actually hatched.' It was the wrong beak."
They said that they are keeping the duck with the chickens, and when the season ends, it will go outside with the other ducks.
