A 14-year-old Utah girl with Down syndrome was devastated to learn that she'd been left out of the school's yearbook photo.
8th grader Morgyn Arnold served as team manager for Shoreline Junior High's cheerleading team - learning routines, attending games, and posing for the squad's yearbook photo.
But when the yearbook came out, the photo was nowhere to be found, replaced with a nearly identical photo without Arnold. Her sister claims Morgyn "wasn't even mentioned as a part of the team".
The story sparked such a backlash on social media that the school took down all of its accounts. A since-deleted post called it a "mistake" that was being investigated.
