Harvard University has expanded its financial aid program to offer free tuition to students from families with an annual income of $220,000 or less, aiming to enhance diversity in the student body. This change follows a Supreme Court ruling that banned the use of racial preferences in college admissions. Previously, Harvard provided free tuition to families earning less than $85,000 a year.
